It has been two years since his tragic death, and over the weekend Michael Jackson fans all over the world remembered the beloved King of Pop.

And one lucky fan ended up purchasing the legendary leather jacket Jackson wore in his ?Thriller? music video for a cool $1.8 million.

A commodities trader from Austin, Texas named Milton Verret plunked down the hefty sum at Julien?s Auctions in Beverly Hills yesterday.

Verret told press he planned on putting the jacket on tour as a fundraiser to benefit various children?s charities.
